Josh first worked for Larry Stone on the wine team at Charlie Trotter’s. When chef Trotter retired, Josh relocated to the Cayman Islands, where he continued his pursuit of excellence in food and wine- opening a cocktail bar and winning his way into Diageo’s Top 100 Bartenders in the world and later twice capturing the crown as Food & Wine’s Cayman Cookout Champion, as judged by the late Anthony Bourdain, Eric Ripert, Jose Andres, Daniel Boulud, Emeril Lagasse, and others. Before relocating, he helped to open Kimpton’s first international property, the luxury Seafire Resort. Josh was Lingua Franca’s first intern, having assisted Thomas and the winemaking team since the 2015 vintage before moving into his current role in 2017. Josh left the Caribbean for Oregon in late 2017 to work with Larry in overseeing all national and international distribution.
